Dr. Reza Moridi (Liberal) the Iranian-Canadian Member of Provincial Parliament in Ontario attended the 2012 CJPAC Toronto Event in support of fostering Jewish and pro-Israel political leadership.
On Thursday, March 29, 2012, the CJPAC annual Toronto's event was held. This was CJPAC's biggest 2012 event. 1200 people from various communities came and participated in support of fostering Jewish and pro-Israel political leadership. Dr. Reza Moridi Iranian-Canadian Liberal MPP (Richmond Hill) was among the politicians and dignitaries who attended to show their support for and solidarity with Israel, the Jewish State with an emphasize on pro-Israel political leadership. It is imperative to understand that CJPAC's function in Canada is similar to that of the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAP) in the US supporting Israel the Jewish State.

Dr. Reza Moridi, MPP, Liberal, (Richmond Hill, Ontario) was born in Urumiah, West Azerbaijan Province of Iran. He is the first Iranian-Azerbaijani-Canadian elected to a provincial or federal legislature in Canada. Dr. Reza Moridi is proud of his Azerbaijani heritage and have been active in Azerbaijani community in Canada.
