The Republic of Azerbaijan rightfully so is concerned with the Iranian regime meddling in its internal affairs. Israel and Republic of Azerbaijan historically have always had close relations. In light of recent events and the Iranian regime's aggressive pursuit to dominate the Middle East, as well as the Iranian nuclear standoff, Republic of Azerbaijan and Israel have expanded their collaborations in the areas of defense and intelligence strengthening their historic friendship and alliances.
